My first try at juicing pomegranate:
It turned out pretty sweet if I do say so myself. 🙂 The green on top is kale. The pretty red on the bottom is the pomegranate. In this juice shot is: Kale, pomegranate, green apple, ginger and lemon.

This is going into my juice today:
Kale, green apple, ginger and a pomegranate. I’ve never juiced a pomegranate before. From what I’ve been reading they can be a bit of a pita (pain in the…) to juice. 🙂 Apparently if you don’t remove the seeds (pearls) from the white pith, the juice will be bitter. I just wonder how bitter bitter really is. More or less bitter than when you don’t peel a lemon or grapefruit before juicing?
You heard right. I added a drop or two or four of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce to my juice….mmmm mmmm good!
Red chard, carrots, green apples, celery, ginger, lemon and hot sauce…woohoo! I am officially out of produce and have to go get me some more.
This is what I made to warm up after coming in from shovelling snow for 35 minutes this morning.
This is a teapot that a lovely friend and neighbour of mine gave me just yesterday. Inside that pretty piece of pottery is lemon slices, ginger and hot water. Just what I needed comin in from the cold.
Has anyone tried this yet? Should I dry the seeds first? Are they easy to grow? Let us know 🙂
I started my day with a glass…err mason jar of green juicy goodness. This one is kale, chard, green apple and a squeeze or two of lemon. Mmm, mmm good. 🙂
I drank most before I remembered to take a pic..heehee…oops.
