Across the banks of Apeng River and the Puhua river, Sheltered Bridge in Zhuoshui Ancient Town is 588m long and 6m wide. In 2016, the bridge was named as the Longest Sheltered Bridge by Shanghai Great World Guinness (in the style of Tujia People). Composed of three parts: bridge, tower and pavilion, the bridge consists of four sections: Canglang Bridge, Ancient Clock Tower, Puhua Rainbow, Puhua Loong Bridge. In pure wooden structure, the bridge is solidly built with traditional connecting technique of mortise and tenon of Tujia People. The bottom part of the bridge is arch bridge built with reinforced concrete which combines with ancient building structure.
